Awards

The National Consensus Project Quality in Palliative Care Award was created to recognize organizations which enhanced their palliative care services by implementing palliative care principles espoused by the National Consensus Project for Quality Palliative Care (NCP, http://www.nationalconsensusproject.org) and the National Quality Forum (NQF, http://www.qualityforum.org).

Eight NCP Quality in Palliative Care Award winners were selected in Fall 2008. The awards were supported by the Mayday Fund, based in New York City, in conjunction with the NCP.

Hereafter, the NCP redirected this recognition to be encompassed through the Circle of Life Awards.
